| Born and raised in Venice Beach, California. Talk about being surrounded by art! What a creative place to grow up. I graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1990 and have been teaching every since. Now I live in Nevada City with my husband, young daughter and dog. My teaching strength is to connect one with the purpose of creating, moving past creative fears and working from a place of spontaneous knowing. Almost every serious artist I have known creates because they have something to express rather than creating a perfect picture so that everyone can say that their cup looks like a cup.
